Most goals die by week three. Not because people don't want them, but because nobody showed them how to identify the right goal, break it down, build the daily habits, and stay accountable. Here is the exact system NM9 athletes use.
Identify it. Break it down. Build the habits. Track it every day. Own it with real accountability.
Every goal lives in one of five areas: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Emotional or Future. Pick the one or two that matter most right now. Then answer the hard questions.
One big goal for the year. What has to be true in 90 days? In 30? This week? Today? Big goals feel impossible. Today's step never does.
Goals are results. Habits are the cause. Attach each goal to 1 or 2 daily habits in your morning routine, night routine or training standard.
Check in every day. Score yourself honestly. Update your numbers every Sunday. What gets tracked gets done, and streaks build momentum.
Someone has to see it. Parents see the weekly score and alerts when a standard slips. Adults run a weekly review. No hiding, no excuses.
Grab a notebook (or do it together at dinner). Answer these honestly, area by area. Your real goals are hiding in the answers.
Pick an area and what you want to work on. We will break it into a 1-year, 90-day and 30-day goal, plus the daily habits that get you there.
Pick an area and a focus on the left.
"Get a scholarship" is a dream, not a plan. Without 90-day and 30-day targets it stays a dream.
Results come from what you do every day, not what you want once a year.
If you don't measure it, you can't tell if you're winning or slipping until it's too late.
Motivation fades. Accountability doesn't.
